Casuarina Tree
‘Casuarina Tree’ is a project about the dominance of the species on Coney Island. The elements of the island and the characteristics of the tree allowed this particular species to aggressively populate the island.
Through the process of repetition, the artefact reflects both the immense and singular presence of the tree. The archival and design process of this project acts as a form of investigation and appreciation for the spirit of the tree.
